The Retail Projects and Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing internal

communication and managing various retail projects. This position involves distributing competition prizes, managing internal communication channels, creating informative and engaging newsletters, and supporting various retail functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of working cross-functionally with different teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prize Distribution

  • Organize and distribute prizes from company competitions, including gift cards, team lunches, and maintaining fully stocked fridges.
  • Coordinate with retail leaders to ensure timely and accurate prize distribution.

Internal Communication

  • Create and distribute the company newsletter, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligns with company values.
  • Manage the company Slack channel, ensuring effective communication and engagement across all teams.

Meeting Preparation

  • Develop and create meeting decks for weekly and monthly team calls, ensuring all necessary information is included and presented clearly.
  • Coordinate with team leaders to gather content and feedback for meetings.

Intranet Management

  • Support the management of the companys SharePoint/intranet, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible to all employees.
  • Assist in organizing and categorizing content to improve ease of use and navigation.

Internal Messaging

  • Ensure that internal company messaging reaches store teams in a timely and effective manner.
  • Work with store managers to gather feedback and improve communication strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with all teams to support various projects and initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between different departments to achieve company goals.

Retail Support

  • Provide support to other retail functions as needed, including event planning, project management, and team coordination.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of retail strategies and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior dispensary experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in internal communications, project management, or a similar role.
  • Experience in the retail industry.
  • Familiarity with creating and managing newsletters.
  • Experience with event planning and prize distribution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe, or any other graphic design platform. (Examples of work will be required.)
  • Familiarity with Slack and other communication tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Little Rock, AR and work in the home office.
