Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving new sales and business growth across key sectors. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to achieve monthly sales targets, build and manage a robust sales pipeline, and engage prospects effectively. Your deep knowledge of our products, industry trends, and strategic selling techniques will be essential in identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Experience
Years of experience required: 5+ years. Salary will be determined based on experience.
Demonstrated interest and/or previous experience working in or with projects that focus on emerging market countries is highly desirable.
Experience in the following sectors is desirable but not mandatory:
- Banking and/or Financial Services
- Law Firm (Library or Research Services)
- Consulting
- Government
- Corporations
- International organizations
Experience in the following fields is desirable but not mandatory:
- Library or Research Services
- Procurement
- Data Analytics
Previous experience in data or software platform sales is not mandatory but may beneficial. Applicants without business development/sales experience are still encouraged to apply, especially if enthusiastic or have particular experience/interest in emerging market country-related matters.
