The ideal candidate will have experience with document control, database updates, advanced in MS Excel, and thrive working directly with Project Managers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide daily administration and technical support for Project Managers, Sr. Estimators, and Superintendent’s. This is an ideal role to develop one’s skills in preparation for advancement in project management.
- Single and Multiple project responsibilities
- Plan and assist in the management of all aspects of project management, including scheduling, buyout, and project close out.
- Creating, reviewing, and issuing contract agreements and purchase orders
- Document tracking
- Material and equipment procurement
- Quantity takeoffs
- Subcontractor bid coordination
- Subcontract bid analysis
- Develop, track, and maintain project control documents (RFI's, Submittals, RFQ's, CO's, etc.)
- Review subcontractor project submittals and RFI's for conformance with plans and specifications.
- Compile and organize subcontractor closeout documents and as-builts
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+years professional experience as a project coordinator or administrative support to projects/consultants.
- Must demonstrate proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge, and familiarity with MS Project and other construction software tools.
- Must demonstrate strong math, strong critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Possess a preference to work in small office with a highly intelligent group.
