Key Responsibilities:

The Construction Project Coordinator will ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, project specifications, budget constraints, and reporting obligations for assigned projects. The focus of the role may shift based on project demands and priorities, while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, including owners and community members.


Primary Duties:
  • Execute all essential responsibilities of a Construction Project Coordinator.
  • Attend and document project meetings to ensure clear communication.
  • Establish and maintain an organized electronic filing system.
  • Update and manage all project drawings, specifications, and logs.
  • Develop and uphold a site-specific safety plan, including audits and training sessions.
  • Review and process submittals efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate submittal and procurement logs.
  • Conduct expediting functions as necessary.
  • Verify and code timesheets accurately.
  • Manage Accounts Payable workflows as assigned.
  • Confirm original estimate quantities for labor cost reporting.
  • Document quantities in place and maintain labor cost reports.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for extra work orders.
  • Assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys.
  • Maintain a record set of project drawings.
  • Document and track punch list items.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Internship experience in construction is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of construction cost accounting, estimating, and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with software such as HCSS, HeavyBid, and Procore is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
