Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Coordinator to join our Land Development team at New Home Co. This role will provide critical support to our Project Managers in obtaining agency approvals, coordinating consultant plans, and maintaining project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in obtaining agency approvals for engineering, landscape architecture, and architectural plans
  • Coordinate and prepare plans for submittal to agencies, including physical submittal and retrieval of plans
  • Maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project and provide updates to Project Managers
  • Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks, including contract management and invoice approval
  • Interface with Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams on project-related issues
  • Monitor plan checks and communicate with agencies to facilitate efficient coordination
  • Calculate fees for plan checks and inspections, and submit check requests to Accounting
  • Coordinate consultants' scopes of work and manage contracts and purchase orders
  • Generate and maintain administrative and project files, including tracking department files and physical files
  • Provide invoice approval and coding, and create meeting notices and schedules
  • Generate and maintain tracking reports, action items, and spreadsheets
  • Compose and prepare transmittals and memoranda
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar professional environment assisting a senior-level executive; homebuilding industry experience preferred
  • Newstar Software experience a plus
  • Proficiency in handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of personality types
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and be a team player with a strong work ethic

  • Competitive base salary range of $70,000 to $78,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset
