About the Role:

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator who is detail-oriented and highly organized. A successful applicant will also be a creative problem-solver, open to learning new skills, adaptive to the changing needs of the business, and able to bring high energy to the staff. Candidates should be motivated to keep the company's standard of quality and continue improving the overall client experience. This is a full-time salaried in-person position located in Upper Marlboro, MD. Occasional travel is required to client sites in and around Washington, D.C.


Job Duties:

  • Manage shipping and receiving, keeping all new purchases organized by job name and add them to our inventory system. Make all necessary returns within the returns window
  • Responsible for keeping our inventory system up to date and accurate, reporting damages, and completing consistent quality audits alongside the warehouse team
  • Communicate daily with the Sales & Design team and quickly reply to their requests. Requests may include quality assessments of inventory, testing new products, and informing them immediately of any inventory concerns for upcoming jobs.
  • Monitor par levels of tools and supplies for Warehouse, Shop, and Installations, and restock as needed
  • Manage the entire process of new inventory submissions, which includes coordinating with the Visual Designers for renderings, coordinating with external editors, adding inventory and all of its associated components to the inventory system, and adding it to the rental website
  • Able to commit to the completion of projects during spring and fall busy seasons (hours can exceed a standard workday to ensure projects are completed on time)


Job Requirements:

  • Must have strong organizational skills and 3 years of prior work experience
  • Must have demonstrated time-management, task-management, and organizational skills
  • Have effective interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking
  • Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies and parts
  • Must have Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record
  • Must be willing to complete a background check
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience with inventory management software preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory role is preferred
