The Company is a market-leading supplier of natural stone products to high-end residential and commercial customers. The company operates eight retail showrooms across the country and owns a stone and ceramic tile manufacturing operation in Mexico.



Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual operating budgets in collaboration with senior management. Monitor budget performance and provide regular forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Cash Management: Manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and support operational needs. Ensure compliance with debt covenants and other financial obligations.

Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis findings.

Audit and Tax Compliance: Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion. Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation of tax returns and coordination with tax advisors.

Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks facing the organization. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets.

Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness.



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience ; with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.

Proven leadership ability, with a track record of building and developing teams.

Experience in building materials, manufacturing, and/or retail operations is a plus.

Experience managing financial operations across multiple countries, particularly in Mexico or similar markets.

Fluent Spanish is a must, as interfacing with the team in Mexico will be a key element.
