We develop tailored tea offerings with our best-in-class experience and award winning tea programs while working with partners like Google, Princess Cruises, #Slack, Disney, MGM resorts, Wolfgang Puck, The Boca Raton, Huntington Gardens and the White House.


Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Head of Growth with a strategic marketing and business development background, particularly with leading brands. The ideal candidate excels in building and nurturing relationships within the hospitality, CPG, food service, and retail industries. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to expand our market presence and increase revenue through targeted sales initiatives. You will play a crucial role in the brand growth journey for customers perspectives by effectively storytelling and crafting our narrative to win new business opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for growth and profitability within B2B hospitality, food service, and retail sectors
  • Project Planning Initiatives: Drive the concept and execution of 360 activation plans collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers in hotels, restaurants, and cafes.
  • Cross Collaboration: Collaborate with teams (Product, Sales, Creative, Communications, PR, digital, Impact, etc.) on 360 campaign process for all markets to ensure all touch points reflect brand messaging
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and keep abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging markets.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching and support to achieve these goals.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive sales revenue through effective negotiation, pricing strategies, and contract management to both close brand new accounts and strengthen the relationships of existing accounts.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support, anticipating customer needs and supporting the team by removing roadblocks so they can resolve issues promptly.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting to track performance against targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and operations to ensure alignment in strategy and execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in sales in a quota carrying role and 3 years managing teams to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the hospitality market dynamics, including trends, key players, and customer needs.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and negotiate effectively.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.
  • Systems: Experience with CRM and data software (Hubspot, Shopify, etc.) is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
