DONALD PLINER/REBECCA MINKOFF is seeking a Footwear Sales Associate based in our New York City showroom.

This position will report directly to the Senior Sales Executive with key responsibilities to support the sales team by managing day-to-day responsibilities and assist in driving sales to grow the footwear brands.

The ideal candidate will have experience with independent accounts, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work with a highly collaborative team.


Responsibilities:

Reports

 Pulls selling reports from wholesale account portals and sends them to the team on a weekly basis.

 Completes WTD, MTD and STD weekly flash report.

 Reviews selling report and identifies best sellers for re-orders or markdowns.

 Identifies markdowns for monthly markdown call.

 Communicates markdowns to accounts on the maintenance form or via email.

 Reviews shipped, picked and open order report on a daily and weekly basis.

 Utilizes ATS report to execute re-orders for accounts.

 ETA Report-uses to communicate deliveries to accounts.


Market Appointments

 Manage calendar postings for market presentations

 Assist in preparing account re-caps for market appointments

 Ensure samples are prepped and merchandised for each appointment.

 Conduct and assist in sales presentations in person or via zoom.


Shoe Shows

 Complete shoe show contracts and prepare for approval and invoicing.

 Send out invitations and emails to customers.

 Create a prospect list for new accounts and make phone calls and emails to set up appointments.

 Sample prep-shipping and managing logistics.

 Enter orders into the Joor system and prepare orders to be sent to account services to enter in the system.

 Create Nu Order customer line sheets for major accounts

 Complete the form for new account set-ups and send for approval

 Follow up with accounts after the show to ensure orders are received in a timely manner

 Maintain the shoe show sales projections by account and update with results


Merchandising

 Maintains displays in the showroom on a weekly basis

 Assist in setting up the showroom and shoe shows for markets  Assist in pulling drops, sorting out samples and shipping.


Seminars and Competitive Shopping

 Conducts product knowledge and trend information in retail seminars for major accounts

 Monthly visits to local accounts to ensure product is on the floor and completes a competitive shopping form with photographs


Skills and Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree

● Experience with independent sales is a plus.

● Must be detail and task oriented.

● Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities around deadlines.

● Contribute and collaborate with the sales team and cross-functional teams.

● Excellent communication and relationship building skills

● Proficient in Microsoft excel: Pivot tables and V Look ups

● Joor and Nu Order experience is a plus.


Work Location and Schedule

This job will require that you work form our office in New York, NY, weekdays during

normal business hours with some flexibility.
