Role Summary:
The Planning Manager plays a crucial role in conducting comprehensive financial and product evaluations within the wholesale sector. This position requires a deep understanding of Open-to-Buy (OTB) management and the ability to effectively convey insights to both partners and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aggregate and evaluate weekly sales data, proposing strategies and drawing insights across all product categories for North America.
- Identify and assess business opportunities by analyzing sales performance by category.
- Create planning documents to support analytical processes.
- Prepare quarterly retrospective data for management to inform product assortments.
- Oversee and maintain monthly sales and inventory plans by account and brand.
- Support the team in reaching target sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Self-driven and ambitious mindset is essential.
- Familiarity with the US wholesale market.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales trends and derive actionable conclusions.
- Proficient in retail mathematics.
- Advanced skills in Excel are required.
