This is a unique opportunity for an exceptionally talented social media manager to build our client’s (Filterbuy) digital media presence. Filterbuy is now an industry leader in the indoor air quality industry, but not by accident. Its founder & CEO, David Heacock, was a former Wall Street professional who left everything behind to disrupt the industry. His obsession with excellence and willingness to take risks no one else would have put Filterbuy in the leadership position they are in. We’re excited to showcase the story.


We’re searching for a savvy social media creative strategist to promote the essence of Filterbuy’s brand on relevant social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok). Use your deep knowledge of social platforms to produce highly engaging, informative, and entertaining videos that educate viewers on solving unique business challenges. By doing so, we aim to expand Filterbuy’s brand presence, increase their exposure, and establish them as thought leaders in the industry.


We’re not looking to make super technical or promotional videos. We’re looking to craft a truly unique brand presence for Filterbuy that few companies have done before. We want to reimagine what digital media content for a business can look like that can be exceptionally authentic, highly transparent, and totally pull back the curtain on a business built with rare out-of-the-box thinking. 


As the Social Media Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to pioneer an entirely new vertical for Filterbuy from the ground up. And while you’ll largely be leading, you won’t be at it alone. You’ll receive support from industry veterans who have worked across some of media’s leading companies and startups across a variety of industries to hone your strategy and set you up for success.


What you’ll do:


  • Develop and execute a compelling content strategy for Filterbuy’s social media that performs well on each platform.
  • Craft social media content that tells the captivating story of Filterbuy and David’s journey, showcasing ongoing innovations and developments within the company.
  • Transform high level complex business insights into simple, captivating narratives that resonate with a broad audience.
  • Lead content ideation and production, with support from a Social Media Editor.

Basic Requirements:


  • Experience: 5+ years managing social media campaigns for branded social accounts across multiple platforms
  • Deep knowledge: In-depth understanding of a variety of social platforms to effectively strategize for optimal exposure and make sure the content resonates effectively
  • Business Acumen: strong interest, curiosity, and passion for business and operations
  • Storytelling Ability: Ability to identify and shape compelling storylines from across the company, with knack for identifying social trends and producing brand-aligned content.
  • Leadership: ability to run autonomously and lead the building of new social media strategy from scratch
  • Location: willingness to work in-office in West Palm Beach, Florida (relocate if needed)
