Your Role:

At MyBambu, your contribution can be significant. We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about playing a vital role in our success. This position is for someone who takes their responsibilities seriously while also embracing a fun work environment. You will report directly to the Social Media Customer Service Manager.

The Social Media Specialist will be an integral part of our in-house marketing team, dedicated to building a robust social media presence and enhancing the company's brand image. This role involves engaging with our audience through posts, comments, and replies, developing a relatable voice for the company. Additionally, you will monitor online mentions of the company to address negative feedback and share positive experiences, thereby strengthening customer relationships. Most importantly, you will respond to inquiries and concerns received through MyBambu's social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct messages across various social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with different departments as necessary.
  • Track and follow up on cases in Salesforce.
  • Utilize bilingual communication skills.
  • Social Media Management: Employ social media effectively to build and maintain the brand. Engage with clients by responding to comments and posts, addressing concerns, and fostering trust across all platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively reach our target demographic.
  • Technical Proficiency: A tech-savvy mindset is crucial. Familiarity with Salesforce, Social Studio, Excel, and CRM tools is preferred.
  • Research Skills: Stay updated on social media trends, identify new tools, and engage in real-time online conversations. Basic analytical skills are necessary.
  • Time Management: The ability to organize tasks effectively to meet deadlines is critical. Daily responsibilities will require timely execution as social media operates continuously.
  • Creativity: Basic knowledge of WordPress and Photoshop is beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, preferably in social media engagement.
  • Experience managing multiple platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Preferred: One year of experience with Salesforce.
  • Understanding of content management systems and email marketing best practices.
  • Ability to assist in various operations as needed across departments.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel functions and formulas.
  • Maintain organization, accuracy, and attention to detail in all work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
