Job Description:

LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management Administrative Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in El Monte, CA. This is a contract-to-hire position offering competitive pay of $25 - $27 per hour. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, experience with Yardi and Appfolio software, and a background in commercial property management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist with property management tasks such as lease administration, tenant communication, and maintenance coordination.
  • Utilize Yardi and Appfolio software for property management functions, including data entry, reporting, and tracking.
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Maintain organized files and records, both electronic and paper.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Support the Property Manager with special projects and tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proven experience with Yardi and Appfolio property management software.
  • Previous experience in commercial property management is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
