Position Overview: The Property Management Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager at the assigned property, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to property standards.
Compensation: Up to $15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Understand and implement compliance measures, including income qualification, property standards, and social service provisions for residents.
- Supportive Services: Facilitate on-site services as outlined in the Land Use Restrictive Agreement (LURA) to assist low-income families.
- Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, managing vacancy reports, and processing maintenance timesheets.
- Leasing Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining property aesthetics. Collaborate with leasing agents to gather necessary documentation for tenant qualification.
Qualifications:
Experience: No prior experience in apartment property management is required; however, a minimum of 1 year in customer service is essential.
Education: High School Diploma is required, along with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid TX Driver's License
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Commensurate with experience (up to $15.00 per hour)
Note: This position offers a potential fast track to advancement as an Onsite Property Manager.
