Job Description:

Under general direction of the Manager – Integration Engineers, acts as the primary technical resource supporting successful integration.

  • Responsibilities include technical needs analysis, project management, technical support, customer support, interface programming and testing. Generally supports the implementation of company products through successful execution of assigned tasks.
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable discussing HL7, LAN, WAN, VPN, TCPIP technologies with customer resources.
  • Must have the desire and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Position requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Normally requires a minimum of four (4) to six (6) years Healthcare IT, pharmacy automation, or related experience.


MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Software Development or Interface Development experience, preferably with C#, XML, or .NET
  • Competent level of experience in using healthcare interfaces, messaging standards HL7; and application/data integration and methodology is required
  • Competent level of experienced with LAN, WAN, VPN, TCPIP technologies
  • Competent level of experience with SQL, MS-SQL preferred
  • Competent level of experience with pharmacy automation and associated interfaces
