Position Overview

As a Healthcare Customer Service Specialist at Gainwell, you will play a vital role in leveraging technology to assist our clients in improving the health and well-being of the communities they serve. Your Contributions to Our Mission
  • Provide assistance to clients by addressing a range of eligibility and claims inquiries via phone.
  • Resolve fundamental inquiries and identify demographic and provider issues affecting client eligibility and claims processing.
  • Process requests for Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) Vouchers and collaborate with NET coordinators and Medicaid Agency Case Managers.
  • Investigate client eligibility, benefit limitations, and confirm coverage details.
  • Update client demographic information as necessary.
Qualifications We Seek
  • A minimum of one month of customer service or related telephone experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with callers and exhibit confidence.
  • Proficient in problem identification and resolution, multitasking, and performing effectively under pressure and independently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Assessment Requirement: All candidates must complete an assessment as part of the interview process to evaluate key competencies relevant to the role, including communication skills, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • This position requires on-site attendance.
  • Video conferencing will be utilized during all interviews and the initial orientation period.
