Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
  • Accurately obtaining and documenting patient medical histories, vital signs, test results, and other essential information while upholding confidentiality.
  • Managing daily administrative functions, including scheduling appointments, facilitating patient check-in and check-out, and maintaining medical records.
  • Preparing examination rooms for patient consultations.
  • Assisting with patient inquiries via phone.
  • Providing empathetic support and assistance to patients and their families.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare environment; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Possession of a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent educational background.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care, medical terminology, coding practices, and reference materials.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service abilities.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems is advantageous.
