Position OverviewAs a Healthcare Customer Service Specialist at Gainwell, you will play a vital role in leveraging technology to assist our clients in improving the health and well-being of the communities they serve, particularly the most vulnerable populations. This position allows you to align your passion with purpose, collaborating with a team that excels in developing innovative solutions to significant healthcare challenges. Below are the specifics of this role.
Your Responsibilities- Provide assistance to clients by addressing various eligibility and claims payment inquiries via telephone.
- Resolve fundamental inquiries and identify demographic and provider issues affecting client eligibility and claims processing.
- Process requests for Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) Vouchers and liaise with NET coordinators and Medicaid Agency Case Managers.
- Investigate client eligibility, benefit limits, and confirm coverage.
- Update client demographic information as necessary.
- A minimum of one month of customer service or telephone experience is required; more experience is preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage positively with callers and exhibit self-assurance.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively under pressure and independently.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Assessment Requirement: All candidates must complete an assessment as part of the interview process to evaluate key competencies relevant to the role, including communication skills, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- This position requires on-site presence.
- Video conferencing will be utilized during all interviews and the initial orientation period.
