We are seeking an experienced Saas / Logistics Sales Professional to work with the marketing and sales teams in helping to grow top line company revenue.

 

The successful Sales Professional will have a SaaS or Shipping and Logistics background and the ability to perform lead prospecting efforts to generate MQL and SQL leads with prospective and existing clients. This position is an important component of the sales and marketing process, playing a critical role in qualifying leads, scheduling discovery meetings and managing sales leads through the entire sales cycle to maximize deal opportunities. Sales leads are generated through a combination of inbound and outbound sales and marketing efforts.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell SaaS based shipping and logistics platform products and services.
  • Represent the company’s products and services, using industry research as well as comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on inbound and outbound leads through sequences of cold calls and emails.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
  • Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations
  • Following all processes and procedures established to generate and develop lead opportunities.

 

Required skills and qualifications

  • Three or more years of sales experience, preferably within a similar industry (logistic or SaaS based)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
  • Desire and aptitude to learn and engage with new technology.
  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
