Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a Sales Team Leader at Integrated Telemanagement Services to spearhead our next growth phase. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role involves overseeing an existing sales team that is anticipated to expand significantly. The Sales Team Leader will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and management of our sales operations, optimizing processes to help the company achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
As a vital member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in our execution and growth strategies. You will collaborate with our experienced team while introducing innovative perspectives and solutions to drive substantial growth and enhance market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee direct and inside sales as well as sales engineering functions.
- Accountable for delivering precise sales forecasts and ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to influence technology and product line planning.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing sales team.
- Possess a thorough understanding of solution selling, sales strategy, forecasting, and pipeline development.
- Conduct research to identify potential new clients and devise effective sales strategies.
- Utilize existing industry contacts to promote Integrated Telemanagement Services.
- Work cross-functionally to explore new markets and verticals.
- Define and refine sales processes and strategies.
- Manage Sales Operations with a data-driven approach.
- Oversee marketing initiatives to align with sales goals and strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Over 10 years of sales leadership experience with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets in the Telecom IT MSP sector.
- Demonstrated success in scaling and leading a sales organization within a high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to hire, mentor, and develop individual contributors.
- Experience engaging with C-suite executives is essential.
- Proven track record in executing a multi-tier sales model, including field-direct, inside, and partner/channel sales.
- Ability to swiftly identify and address sales, customer, and managerial challenges; adept at setting clear objectives, assigning responsibilities, and managing performance to achieve timely results.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
