Role Responsibilities:


As an Account Executive at Speakeasy, you'll play a crucial role in fostering existing client relationships and spearheading new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:


● Achieving or exceeding sales goals through proactive new business development efforts.

● Prospecting for new business by leveraging your professional network, seeking referrals, and researching and targeting new prospects.

● Maintaining and building relationships with key accounts within the existing book of business to exceed sales goals.

● Developing new strategic alliances within the current client base.

● Driving the complete sales cycle from initial customer engagement to a closed sale.

● Analyzing customer business strategies, future plans, and expansion activities to align Speakeasy’s offerings effectively.

● Representing the company at networking and industry association meetings to promote awareness of Speakeasy.

● Participating in weekly sales meetings, company development activities, and other relevant events.

● Following company/sales department procedures and guidelines, including SLX documentation, reporting, and expense submissions.

● Initiating personal development and growth opportunities in alignment with managerial agreements.

● Modeling the Company’s brand within the marketplace through your style and approach.


Qualifications:

● 5+ years of proven sales or business development experience.

● Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline development, and closing business.

● Sound business acumen with the ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships.

● Superior negotiation and interpersonal skills.

● Exceptional communication skills, including oral, written, presentation, and active listening.

● High accountability, resilience, and a self-starter mindset.

● Demonstrated ability to work independently against various objectives using effective time management.

● Strong sense of urgency, deadline/results orientation, and an executive presence.

● Bachelor’s degree preferred.
