TEGNA is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local and regional businesses to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new revenue opportunities using client and category insights from our extensive resource library
  • Create custom solutions-driven campaigns that meet client needs across multiple media platforms, including broadcast, digital, and streaming (OTT)
  • Grow and expand current customers' advertising campaigns by building relationships and understanding their business needs
  • Establish strong relationships with internal team members to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Make decisions and solve problems independently to support customer needs
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of account engagement experience in a professional, fast-paced media sales environment
  • Deep understanding of digital experience in selling streaming/CTV
  • Competitive understanding and success in the automotive category
  • Strong passion for connecting and prospecting with new potential and existing accounts to generate meaningful business conversations and relationships
  • Eagerness to learn 11Alive's top-notch and innovative advertising product suite
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: takes the initiative, exceeds goals, and delivers results
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to own a room and shine in front of clients
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-evolving media and work landscape
