We are looking for a Program Manager who possesses leadership and technical curiosity to lead and oversee all aspects of delivery throughout the development and operating lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects/programs from start to completion.
  • Organize and oversee development schedules and workflows, while managing risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and eliminating blockers.
  • Continuously assess the team's current situation to adapt worksystems, processes, and communication channels to ensure successful, sustainable, and reliable delivery.
  • Own team rituals (ie: stand up, planning, retrospectives), and other relevant rituals for assigned projects/programs.
  • Coach and mentor team to ensure adherence to best principles and practices.
  • Track and provide transparency to metrics to monitor the team’s performance and progress, ensure successful outcomes, and guide the team in identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the capacity of the team to ensure that appropriate resources are allocated and workloads are balanced to deliver high-quality results.
  • Drive team alignment on decisions that ultimately contribute to the successful delivery of a project/program.
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate project/program information/documentation to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience managing technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working with distributed/remote teams and stakeholders (ie: product, design, engineering).
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies, and ability to adapt as needed
  • Proficiency with Agile tools, such as JIRA or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JIRA Structure, Dashboards, and Plans.
  • Experience with Notion.
  • Current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with web stack technologies and backend service development is a plus.
