Job Title: Salesforce Architect

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Architect to join our team. The Salesforce Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This role requires extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform and the ability to lead technical projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and Design: Develop and implement technical strategies and architecture for Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Solution Development: Oversee the development and customization of Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
  • Integration: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party applications.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity and security within Salesforce, including data migration, data quality, and data governance.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to Salesforce users and administrators, ensuring they are proficient in using the platform.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Extensive experience working with Salesforce, including experience in architecting and implementing Salesforce solutions. Experience in a leadership or senior technical role is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and technologies, such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other CRM platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages and technologies (e.g., Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Work Environment:

  • This position may require occasional travel.
  • The role may involve working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
