GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Technical responsibility for Brembo foundation brake applications, testing and development;
- Responsible for customer’s vehicle parameters, packaging data and engineering requirements;
- Responsible for brake system analysis;
- Responsible for customer reviews and internal drawing releases;
- Responsible for evaluating new program technical requirements;
- Participate in customer test activities and vehicle builds;
- Support customer and plant personnel during ramp-up to start of production and during series production throughout the life of the program;
- Assist with technical presentations and quote submissions;
- Assist with meeting customer program requirement, i.e. APQP, PPAP, etc.;
- Support customer engineering relative to quality and warranty;
- Periodic travel required;
DUTIES
- Develop and maintain good customer relations
- Assist team members in cross functional teams as required
- Evaluate and maintain compliance to internal and customer standards. Lead efforts to exceed expectations
- Lead in the development of new and existing programs
- Oversee prototype build and delivery
- Product testing, data review and design approval
CLIMATE
The person in this constantly changing environment works at a fast pace with minimum supervision. Accuracy and good customer service is a must. The requirements of the business may cause frequent interruptions. Travel may be required.
