Role: Application Support Lead (Ruby on Rails)

Job Key Responsibilities:

  • Help upgrade ruby on rails code
  • Ruby version 2.3.8 to 3.2
  • Ruby version 5.1.2 to 7
  • Deploy upgraded application to Linux server
  • Configure Database connections
  • Configure Elastic Search component with application
  • Configure/Manage CA/SSL certificate files for the application & integrations
  • Configure/Manage API Integrations within application
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years of Ruby on Rails
  • Must have knowledge of PostgresSQL and related SQL commands
  • Must have knowledge of Elastic search servers and basic Elastic search commands to upgrade the Elastic versions
  • Good knowledge on Linux operation system to carry out daily Linux system admin activities and experience in Linux shell scripting
  • Experience on working on troubleshooting complex application with multiple integrations
  • Should possess knowledge in GitHub deployments
  • Good Problem solving skills
  • Good Communication skills
