Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

We have a publicly traded company in San Mateo, CA seeking a strong Sr Executive Assistant to support their CEO.
Highlights of the role:
5-days onsite with the ability to be hybrid in the future
Position is Contract To Hire
Max pay on the temporary basis is $70/hr
10+ years of prior CEO support is required Public company CEO support is required
Ideal candidate has supported a CEO within a publicly traded company.
Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a CEO and has a passion for keeping executives organized.
Board Meeting prep and event planning for Board Meetings is required
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling and calendar management
- Coordinating all domestic and international travel
- Preparing for management meetings
- Composing and distributing of presentations, reports and mailings
- Processing expense reports and internal documents
- Contributing to group projects and taking charge of additional duties as assigned
- Assisting management in the preparation and set-up for Board Meetings
- Create spreadsheets and reports on MS Excel
- Back-up for office manager when needed
- Board Meeting set-up, prep, presentation creation, catering, hotel accommodations and much more
Qualifications:
- Degree and 15+ years of administrative experience, experience directly supporting a "C" level for the past 10+ years
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and with minimal direction
- Able to perform duties with a high level of confidentiality and discretion and can be trusted with sensitive information
- Strong interpersonal skills and can work well with different personalities in the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication and can edit work for spelling and grammar
- Extremely organized and conscientious
- Strong sense of urgency and can work longer hours when necessary
- Experience with Google Apps and Gmail for calendaring
