Job description

S&A Legal Management Services, Inc., a well-established multi-state legal recoveries law firm, is seeking a motivated Legal Support Manager to lead our litigation team in Carrollton, Texas with periodic travel to support our Houston office.


Since our inception in May 2000, we've evolved into a significant player in debt recovery litigation, providing comprehensive solutions for major banks and creditors.


This role directly supports the State Managing Attorney and VP of Litigation.


Job Responsibilities:

  • The role is responsible for docket team supervision; making sure things are instructed, assigned, covered, and documented.
  • This person will manage client communication related to Texas discovery.
  • Manage compliance documentation for all TX Appearance Counsel.
  • Produce and report production and/or case management data in support of the Litigation Leadership team.
  • Assist the Texas Litigation team with responsibilities as assigned.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ Years experience in high-volume civil litigation practice with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Paralegal Certificate, Paralegal Degree, or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Professional written communication and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize in order to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Database Management systems.
  • Collections experience a plus.
