Senior Risk Management Executive

The Senior Risk Management Executive will spearhead the clinical risk management initiatives at Cantex Continuing Care Network, focusing on the identification and mitigation of risks within the healthcare environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff through effective risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Management Leadership: Develop and oversee a comprehensive Risk Management Program that identifies, evaluates, and addresses potential risks affecting residents and employees.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations regarding risk management practices, including the timely reporting of Preventable Adverse Events.
- Data Analysis: Document, analyze, and report risk metrics and incident data as required by regulatory bodies.
- Incident Management: Respond to risk-related patient complaints and incident reports, facilitating timely resolutions and corrective action plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the legal department to manage claims and litigation effectively.
- Quality Improvement: Lead Quality Assurance Performance Improvement initiatives, providing insights at quarterly meetings and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in skilled nursing facilities and risk management is essential.
- Current RN licensure is mandatory; certification in Risk Management is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management and process improvement methodologies are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across various departments.
