The Individuals Policy Directorate (IPD) is responsible for all policy and technical aspects of taxes and benefits that have an impact on individual customers. The IPD Impacting and Change team cover a broad portfolio of work across the tax treatment of Pensions, Charities, and Savings. The team play a key role in the successful design and implementation of new policy and manage a range of business-as-usual systems and processes. This is an exciting time for the team who are supporting a wide range of major change programmes and developing options to support policy change.

Job description
This is an interesting and challenging role in which you will have responsibility for helping design and implement the products and processes necessary to support new legislation.
You will be joining a team who play a significant role in change delivery, providing subject matter expertise from inception of new projects through to final delivery.�
The role can be varied depending on current business priorities. This means there is a need to be adaptable and a willingness to get involved in other subject areas both within the team and across the wider Individuals Policy Directorate.
The role will also require some travel to other CS&TD locations.

Design and Development of impacted IT productsCreation of standardised Guidance for users�Development of online IT solutions and tools�Development and implementing the internal operational processes for our Service Delivery, Risk and Compliance Teams�Creation of internal and external communications to raise awareness of changes prior to go-live, striving for early adoption mentalityWork with other teams in Pension, Charities and Savings and wider HMRC to ensure that the operational processes are implemented effectively and align with the existing business prioritiesEssential Criteria:��
Recent experience of considering the impacts of new policy on IT systems and processesRecent experience of implementing change in an operational environment�Desirable Criteria:
Knowledge of Pensions, Charities and/or Savings processes and legislation.Behaviours

Alongside your salary of �35,092, HM Revenue and Customs contributes �9,474 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.HMRC operates both Flexible and Hybrid Working policies, allowing you to balance your work and personal commitments. We welcome applications from those who need to work a more flexible arrangement and will agree to requests where possible, considering our operational and customer service needs.�
We offer a generous leave allowance, starting at 25 days and increasing by a day for every year of qualifying service up to a maximum of 30 days.�
