What you will be doing

Reporting directly to the Logistics & Resourcing Coordinator, this role will be responsible for:

Transport Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive transport schedules to ensure timely and safe delivery of election materials and resources across VEC sites. Logistical Coordination: Identify and address logistical challenges, ensuring smooth operations throughout electoral events and business as usual activities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements, coordinate transport activities and resolve issues as they arise. Compliance: Ensure all transport activities comply with relevant legislative requirements and organisational standards. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement activities and uplift of VEC logistics and resourcing functions through improvements and enhancements to systems and processes. Data Management: Contribute to and maintain accurate records of transport activities, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting and analysis.

  What you will bring to the role

Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of delivering high quality logistics and scheduling work Demonstrated experience across the MS Office Suite, with a strong knowledge of Excel, formulas and associated programs strongly regarded Demonstrated high-level communication & stakeholder engagement skills High attention to detail and ability to multitask with the ability to prioritise & problem solve in a fast-paced business environment Commitment to the VEC's core values
