The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Human Resources.

This position provides operational HR support and guidance for focus area such as compensation and classification, recruitment and onboarding, and employee relations specific to Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and worker compensation (WC) administration. Serves as a backup for other HR services including screening, interviewing, processing background checks and new hires, drafting job descriptions, reviewing compensation, classifying positions, and assisting with employee relations matters. This position contributes to policies, procedures, record keeping, data analysis, process improvements, training, communications, and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and collective bargaining agreements.

Three years of job-related experience working in a professional office environment. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
