Job Description Summary

The Operations Specialist is a pivotal role within the Global Security Operations Team at GE Aerospace, focused on developing policies, procedures, and processes to ensure peak operational efficiency. This role involves driving the design, development, facilitation, and implementation of long-term organizational and mission strategies. Provide communications and budgeting support to the function owners and risk teams, develop meaningful metrics, indicators (e.g., KPI, KRI) to articulate risk reduction and maturity improvement goals that can be measured and reported to leadership to enable effective decision making.

Position Highlights: This role is integral to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Security Operations Team at GE Aerospace. The Operations Specialist will have a direct impact on the organization's ability to manage risk, improve security posture, and achieve strategic objectives through the development and implementation of robust policies, procedures, and performance metrics. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, driving significant change and improvement across the organization.

Job Description

  • Develop and provide monthly scorecards, delivering metrics and executive insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Provide communications and budgeting support as needed
  • Monitor and develop KPIs related to leading and lagging indicators, manage the strategic calendar, and execute on Technology performance management strategies and plans.
  • Perform proactive/predictive analytics, analyze and review key category metrics, volumes, and trends, and engage with internal partners to optimize operations.


Required Qualifications
  • PB: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years specific experience)
  • A minimum of 2 years' project or change management experience with large-scale strategic Product/Security programs.
  • Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, LEAN Certification) is required.   • Experience with global operational training, branding, and communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to practice thought leadership and utilize influence without authority across multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong strategic orientation, systems thinking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in applying industry knowledge, business processes, and desk-level user experience in the creation of solutions.
  • General knowledge of security and site operations.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills; ability to influence stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Demonstrated success in planning, organizing, and driving complex projects to completion.
  • Strong understanding of organizational behavior, motivation, and change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to enhancing employee engagement.
