Job Summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lockbox Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accelerating the receipt and processing of client remittance data, preparing and processing checks for clearing, and preparing information for clients and service partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Remittance Processing: Receive, sort, prepare, and process remittances and invoice data in accordance with standard bank operating procedures.
  2. Mail and Invoice Processing: Open mail, extract paper invoices/payments, sort, and prepare batches for processing.
  3. Quality Control: Follow established corporate and department policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing.
Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Skills: Ability to read and follow instructions, eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to operate general office equipment.
  3. Flexibility: Flexible, able to work additional hours as needed.
  4. Communication: Can effectively cope with change, is cool under pressure, can handle stress, and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  5. Performance: Meets production and accuracy standards within 90 days of completion of training.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience: Prior lockbox, item processing, or equivalent experience.
  2. Technical Skills: 10-key skills with PC/keyboard experience.
