As a Sr. Manager, Accounting, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate account processing and resolution, contributing to improved company cash flow. You will lead and manage finance functions, actively participating in AOP, forecasts, budgets, monthly and quarterly reporting, research, reconciliation, G/L, variance analysis, and invoice approval. Additionally, you will mentor and develop staff and managers, representing the Finance Department in executive-level meetings and backing up the Director in their absence.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactively manage discrepancies, ensuring variances are resolved within aging parameters and metrics set by upper management.
  • Coordinate with management in other departments for the resolution of cross-departmental issues.
  • Initiate necessary policy and procedural changes related to transactions.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and collaborate with department management to recommend changes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, meeting attendance and punctuality standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • BA in Finance or Accounting related field required, and MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
  • Previous managerial/leadership experience overseeing various employee levels is a requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with autonomy, achieving objectives with minimal management input.
  • Significant impact on company-wide end results
  • Managerial expertise in representing Finance department goals and initiatives to Executive Management, influencing decision-making effectively.
  • Understanding of business operations outside the Finance department.
  • Presence perceived by management and peers as knowledgeable, influential, and effective.
  • Specific skills in planning change, implementing change, monitoring change, and setting strategic goals.
  • Strong human relation skills, including excellent communication, adaptability to change, high decision quality, professionalism, teamwork, talent management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to recognize and reward team members, as well as Effectively handle employee relations issues.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with a very high level of "self-starting" thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
