Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and driven Accounting Manager to become a vital part of our finance team. This is a permanent, full-time role that presents an exciting chance to lead and oversee our financial operations.

As the Accounting Manager, you will take charge of the overall management of our accounting division, which includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Profit and Loss Balancing, and Cash Flow Management.

You will be tasked with maintaining a robust system of controls, procedures, and documentation for the accurate recording of financial transactions.

This role reports directly to the CFO and is essential for strategic decision-making and operational excellence as we strive to enhance our service quality and expand our capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and maintenance of operational management accounts.
  • Oversee the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, cash receipts, and collections.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for each department.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of invested assets in accordance with policies and investment guidelines.
  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of organization-wide budgets.
  • Compile and present financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal processes and compliance standards.
  • Develop and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs within the finance department.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Sound business acumen and common sense.
