Estimator Position Responsibilities:

  • Review blueprints, bid documents, specifications, and prepare RFI's.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Proven skills in quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimating techniques.
  • Estimate project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Be good with change orders and minimize costs.
  • Attend site meetings when needed.

Estimator Position Essential Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or relevant field from an accredited four-year college or university a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience estimating in Heavy Civil projects.
  • Working knowledge of HCSS HeavyBid and Agtek a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural plans and specifications.
