As a Supervisory Facilities, Information & Asset Management Specialist, you will:

Provides technical leadership facilities management services, including managing delivery of fully integrated facilities services.

Directly responsible for supervising one or more of the following areas:

comprehensive, cost-effective, and progressive services for property management, supply management, conference center management, mail/messenger services, fitness center, fleet management, facilities services, and space management services.

Conceives and implements new initiatives and projects to strengthen, facilitate, and integrate programs. Undertakes or participates in special projects, operations, and procedures for potential impact on facilities management program requirements.

Oversees the Headquarters employee transportation program which includes messenger services, motor pool services, special events, U-Drive vehicles, and shuttle bus services.

Develops written procedures, issue papers and briefings to communicate information on facility issues to subject matter groups and management officials at all levels internal and external to DOT.

Performs all functions and assumes all responsibilities of the Director in his/her absence. Has delegated authority to commit any transportation resources needed to accomplish the facility's mission.

OST is seeking a seasoned professional who is self-reliant and motivated in providing leadership and direction in facilities management. The Deputy Director is responsible for managing special projects, studies and non-routine or highly sensitive facilities management activities.
