As the Chief of Financial Management Systems, you will perform the following duties:

Provide oversight and expert troubleshooting capability as necessary for the effective and efficient daily operation of FMS and sub-systems. Develop and implement "leading practices" for all financial system processes and procedures. Manage information and interfaces with auditors, providing necessary reports, status, and plans.

Oversee ongoing analyses of financial system operating statuses to determine overall system health and development of corrective action plans for identified deficiencies and vulnerabilities.

Run queries and reports to ensure that FMS and sub-systems remain uncompromised. Perform oversight for security groups and user privileges and ensures adherence to same, and monitors security alerts. Oversee Oracle configurations, profiles and menus. Engage with Oracle cloud and hosting organizations to ensure database monitoring for internal integrity and consistency. Monitor configuration changes to mitigate the risk for malicious and fraudulent acts caused by unauthorized system access.
Oversee all change management processes within FMS and sub-systems. Plan and coordinate implementation releases, updates and upgrades for application, security and operating system patching.

Monitor version changes for both internal and external systems with which FMS interfaces, including managing updates to interface processes where necessary in accordance with leading practices, before promoting to production.

Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.

Identify developmental and/or training needs of subordinates; ensures timely performance of work and that quality standards are met; and makes changes in work assignments, workflow, and balances workload among employees to increase effectiveness of operations supervised.
