Position Overview
As part of the Product Management team, you support the Product Development and Production (full product life cycle) for Men's & RLCW Polo Brands Woven category.
You will partner with the Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, and Raw Materials Teams, as well as Sourcing Offices, Factories & Mills to ensure the integrity of product from salesman sample to bulk production.
The Product Management Senior Associate will work with the team on the development and execution of the product strategy for the brand to create best overall value in terms of product, price, lead-time, and quality.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesParticipate in Board Review with Design and Merchandising to establish product pipeline and TD track (high/medium/low touch) Work on BOM set up and maintenance in PLM.
Update BOM for showroom samples (post-proto approval) through stock approval/OK to buy/production ready.Meet with regional sourcing offices to handoff seasonal line sheets and walk through wash and overall product execution expectations and sample timing.
Participate in weekly WIP meeting and fit meetings. Track, monitor & unpack all salesman samples. Partner with Design on all design approvals and comments. Work with sourcing offices to address any development or production issues.Develop and create timelines with sourcing offices and vendors on lab dips, raw material sourcing and approvals to ensure production delivery deadlines are met and optimize production lead times.
Review and update all costs from initial to final stages in PLM systems.Participate in seasonal costing meetings to inform cross functional team of YOY AUC Improvement and address any costing concerns as well as offer options for cost improvements.
Action weekly buys in GFE systems and follow up with sourcing offices for PO issuances. System maintenance and input is required to support all the above functions in our corporate systems.Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Proven expertise and experience with production and product development - full product life cycle, from design vision to production ready.
- Technical knowledge of product components fabrics + trim. Experience working on woven categories - specifically woven shirts/ swimwear/ headwear product is a plus.
- Excellent communicator with strong ability to collaborate with cross functional partners - design, tech, regional buying, sourcing offices.
- Strong computer skills are a must - including Excel, Outlook, FlexPLM, SAP, GFE+. #LI-CE1
