Role Description:
The Data Lakehouse serves as the foundational platform that empowers Publicis Media agency teams to analyze and evaluate media delivery across various data platforms. The Technology team plays a crucial role in fulfilling the Product vision by developing innovative and effective technology solutions. The Product Manager for the Data Lakehouse is tasked with overseeing and advancing the delivery of the Data Lakehouse, including its enhancements, features, and data source integrations.
You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Product & Data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Data Lakehouse, ensuring optimal product functionality.
- Act as the primary liaison with Engineering for tactical inquiries.
- Conduct research, prepare, and refine scrum tickets.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data integrations and the Data Lakehouse.
- Ensure data quality and delivery standards to enhance the end-user experience.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to create product documentation such as data dictionaries, reference guides, and marketing presentations.
- Generate reports, recommendations, and comprehensive documentation.
- Engage with cross-functional partners, including client agency teams, operations teams, and engineers, to support data products.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital media, particularly in a data-centric role within the ad tech industry.
- Proficient in SQL, with hands-on experience working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with interpreting ERDs and other technical documentation.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Practical experience with scrum-based Agile development methodologies.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, or Computer Science.
- Experience in gathering technical requirements.
- Preferred: Experience with Tableau and BI tools for dashboard creation.
