Skin Better Science:
In 2016, skinbetter science set out to create a new paradigm in skincare, not only for patients, but for the physicians, nurses, aestheticians and surgeons who help patients achieve beautiful skin. Our award-winning products are backed by a diverse team with decades of experience in clinical research and development (in powerhouse products like Restylane and Dysport) and furthered by a continued commitment to the study of skincare science and the introduction of new technologies.
In 2022 L'Oréal acquired Skin Better Science where it joined the dynamic LDB Division.
Who we are looking for:
Responsible for ensuring scientific integrity of Skinbetter Science across all phases of product development, clinical testing, scientific communication and innovation in order to raise the medical visibility and drive innovation of the Skinbetter Science brand.
Key Responsibilities
Manage logistics of all clinical, cohort and observational studies liaising with related KOLs, CROs, R&I and Evaluation Teams - including creation of related protocols and progress management as well as communication outcomes Develop related scientific communications, including but not limited to, the writing and submission of scientific posters, publications as well as the creation of related CVAs with copywriter and graphic designer consultants supporting new launches and science Represent the Skinbetter Science brand in KOL advisory boards and local market events including validation of related enduring materials (articles, posters, presentations...) Track and maintain details, timing, and progress on Skinbetter Science scientific communication, including publications, posters, podium presentations, congress attendance, and medical detailing activity Provide guidance to markets on developing and implementing a scientific communication strategy Partner with DMI Marketing to provided related scientific support to move the brand forward into realms of product innovation, scientific and consumer claims, and patent approval Provide scientific support and research to internal DMI teams to ensure scientific integrity of content Undertake and communicate new patent, publications, and literature searches that could assist with new development or competitive response Represent the SkinBetter brand at major scientific congresses and among related global KOLs Qualifications:
Advanced Clinical/Science degree or professional credentials required (MD, PhD, PharmD, and/or scientific background/experience with preference for skin/dermatology background) Minimum of 5 years post professional degree practice or relevant transferable experience (clinical practice, clinical or scientific training, academic research, and regulatory/scientific). Minimum 5 years experience in a Medical organization with preference for dermatology Experience in Medical/Cosmetic Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Cellular Biology, and/or Facial Aesthetic disciplines strongly desired. Ability to think creatively and conceptually Ability to develop and execute key strategies Strong analytical skills, presentation skills and problem resolution skills Experience performing research and/or analyzing clinical research data Proven ability to develop relationships with physicians and other Healthcare Professionals Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment Salary Range: 128k-175k + bonus
