Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage research grant accounts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare and submit grant applications, including budgets and financial reports.
- Collaborate with research staff to identify and pursue research funding opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, including negotiating budgets and agreements.
- Provide financial reconciliation and research-related financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in required training and education programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or research management.
- Minimum one year of experience in research grant administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with research staff, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to create and use Excel spreadsheets for budget and data tracking.
