As a Project Associate for Medical Policy, you'll:

  • Collaborate on communications, project plans, and follow up with individuals and/or teams on project tasks.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and schedule meetings as needed.
  • Update and maintain the Medical Policy, COMAR, TRICARE and Plan Specific Summary databases as needed.
  • Perform claims research for ad hoc reports.
  • Perform data preparation, data mining, and data cleanup for all lines of business.
  • Create and maintain master documents for Medical Policy.
  • Be responsible for all aspects related to the coordination and execution of the MPAC (Medical Policy Advisory Committee) meeting.
    • This includes pre and post meeting communication, materials & payments.
  • Play a major role in developing, researching, evaluating, and revising communications.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders who are working with JHHP.

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years' experience in managed care or communications in a business or program/project development role.
  • Demonstrated experience in report preparation, preparing presentations and meeting materials.
  • Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • High level of interpersonal skill, written and oral communication necessary to interface with various levels of management.
  • Experience with budget analysis and business/strategic planning.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business in Health Administration, Communications, or related degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred. Related work experience may be substituted for some educational requirements.
