The Sales Support Representative supports the outside sales team and manages lead follow-up, sales coordination and customer satisfaction activities.

Responsibilities of the Sales Support Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the equipment sales administration
  • Manages CRM and ERP systems coordination
  • Manages OS account lists on business systems
  • Tracks activity and revenue at target accounts
  • Generates special sales reports for management as needed
  • Coordinates communication between business unit / OS / IS
  • Develops tracking procedures to include log in, assignment, follow up
  • Follows Leads from cradle to grave and tracks results
  • Evaluate and discuss technical questions regarding pump sales and service
  • Generating quotes with goals to close orders
  • Determine customers' needs by going beyond what they are requesting with goals of future sales development
  • Data collection of new and existing customer accounts to build a comprehensive database
  • Develop accounts by checking customer's purchase history, suggesting related and new products
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards, recommending improved policies and procedures
  • Function as a liaison between engineering and other departments as appropriate to maximize superior sales
  • Social media style interaction within our company in efforts to close the gaps on miscommunication

Qualifications of the Sales Support Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Inside Sales and/or Marketing
  • Broad knowledge and experience in the industry
  • Prior knowledge of logistical matters
  • Strong knowledge of Windows based programs
  • Tech savvy with the ability to perform on a multi-screen computer environment
  • Possess organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior use of the NetSuite platform or knowledgeable with CRM and business enterprise software systems, update and maintain systems with new sales information or similar CRM is an asset
  • Meet deadlines and keep commitments consistently
  • Extremely detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis
  • Excellent skills in both verbal and written communication
  • Strong phone presence
  • Ability to work both, independently and within a team
