Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care.

The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to women's health services at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children.

KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapi'olani and building support for these services within Hawai'i as a whole.


The group's specialty areas include:


Neurology, Orthopedics,Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties.

Its Women's specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology.

The OBGYN department offers complete obstetrical and gynecological care for women and is one of the most comprehensive centers for women's health in Hawai'i.

Services include obstetrical care, pre-pregnancy counseling, medical, dietary and social service counseling, pregnancy testing, prenatal and high-risk prenatal care, counseling and postpartum follow-up care, referral services, infertility diagnostics and treatment, family planning, annual physical exams and pap smears, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, birth control methods, routine gynecologic exams, evaluation for and scheduling of gynecologic surgeries, cyst biopsy and removal, nutritional counseling, and endocrine and teen clinics, among others.

As the Clinical Operations Coordinator, you will bring essential oversight and leadership to manage staff activities and daily operations at our OBGYN department.

Your responsibilities will include providing training to improve the facility staff's clinical proficiency in their assigned tasks, and helping to improve patient flow and revenue cycle management processes.

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Business or health related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or related work experience. Two (2) years of progressive revenue cycle related work experience in a health care setting.
Preferred

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree. Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding. EPIC Master Scheduling experience. Previous supervisory experience.

Hawai'i Pacific Health offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes pay and benefits. The pay rate, if displayed, is the minimum hourly rate for the position.

Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
