About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Care Coordinator to join our Orthopedics department at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care services, developing and implementing clinical services, and evaluating their effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care services, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating with healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement clinical services, such as creating care plans, conducting patient assessments, and providing education and support to patients and families.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and family needs, and resolving any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- Three (3) years recent Registered Nurse experience in Pediatrics, OB/GYN, or Adult Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current national certification in area of specialty.
