Job Summary

By joining our BV Construction group, you will have the ability to develop and enhance your skills in an on-site, hands-on environment. Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and decommissioning and field engineering.

This is mid-level project position, which is accountable for implementing and maintaining the Company's Safety and Health Procedures on a larger, moderately complex project. Performs medium to high complexity tasks and may act as a supervisor to other safety and health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Effectively coordinate and deliver ESH training at various projects and office locations.

  • Enrollment management and logistics for training sessions
  • Delivery and facilitation of (in-person or online) training sessions
  • Manage the training/classroom to facilitate an effective learning environment
  • Deliver training consistent with our procedures and practices
  • Complete required documentation to provide training credit for recordkeeping
  • Assist with the creation of new or updated training, revisions of existing training content that to align with organization standards and good practices/licensing
  • Assist with updating existing procedures or documentation
  • Keeping training materials current to reflect regulatory and company requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and software
  • Travel - up to 50%
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years safety and health experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years in a construction environment preferred
  • Certified Safety Professional or other BCSP Certification
  • NCCER Certified Trainer
  • OSHA 500 and 501
  • First Aid/CPR/AED instructor or trainer
  • Experience leading and facilitating group training sessions
  • Experience leading and facilitating online training sessions
  • Learning management systems knowledge
  • Understanding Adult Learning Theory and learning styles
  • Familiarity with eLearning and microlearning development
  • Content creation with Camtasia or Storyline and Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience in ADDIE or similar content development models
  • Fluency in Spanish
