The Senior Director of FP&A plays a key role within OptumRx, a fast-paced, high growth, exciting organization.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • OptumRx FP&A consolidation, including executive reporting surrounding financial and business insights and messaging that drive incremental business results
  • Drive OptumRx financial forecasting and long-range planning processes across 10+ business segments
  • Continually refine internal financial modeling and systems supporting the forecasting process
  • Support M&A Integration including synergy management, financial planning integration and executive financial status reporting
  • Provide insightful industry reporting and metrics that are delivered to executive management to drive business decisions
  • Engage on end-to-end process improvements across OptumRx
  • Lead and develop teams reporting to this role

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance or equivalent field
  • 8+ years finance experience
  • 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Proven executive communication and presentation skills
  • Proven adaptable, energetic, and strategic
  • Proven analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Proven self-motivated to work independently and also be a team player
  • Proven ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight timelines
  • Proven ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Demonstrated action oriented - present ideas and directions that lead others to action

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fast paced organizations
  • PBM or advanced health care industry experience
  • M&A experience
  • Essbase experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
