This position is centered on supporting Shutterfly's Operations Finance in the realm of labor through financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Overseeing Operations Finance labor management and assisting with annual budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Driving initiatives within Operations Finance, including P&L reporting and management analytics.

  • Developing and monitoring KPIs using advanced tools and technology.
The Operations Finance labor role demands a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who excels at navigating large data sets, structuring analyses, budgeting/forecasting, clarifying results, and effectively communicating key insights. This role will collaborate with key business partners, including senior Finance and Operations executives, to support business decisions, budgeting processes, and provide weekly labor reporting while driving ongoing initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage regular budgeting and forecasting for operations labor, detailing actual versus forecasted results.
  • Collaborate with senior business leadership to deliver relevant KPIs and enhance the framework for ongoing reporting and analysis.
  • Support financial planning and reporting to assist and influence senior leadership with financial insights.
  • Conduct ad-hoc business case analyses to support leadership decisions.
  • Create reporting packages and dashboards for financial and business review meetings that succinctly summarize key insights.
  • Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Central FP&A, and Operations to provide a deeper understanding of P&L management to senior business leaders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial planning and analysis within medium to large organizations, either public or private.
  • Proficient in systems, ideally with experience in implementing or overseeing financial planning and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to construct financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Adaptable to change and agile in execution.
  • Strong results orientation and a proactive approach across the finance organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools.
  • Experience with Oracle/SAP and Hyperion/EPM is a plus.
